Lafarge Cement Ltd. is based out in Village Gopal Nagar, which is part of the Janjgir Champa area. Being in a village setting is quite different from being in the city. You won't find modern art in this office. Instead, we have a workspace that is built for durability and function. The roads around Janjgir Champa can be a bit bumpy. We are used to navigating them with our loads. Living and working in Gopal Nagar means we are close to nature but also tied to the industrial side of things. It is an honest life. We like knowing that we are a part of the local economy. We just focus on keeping the machinery going and ensuring the daily quotas are met. No drama. That is just how we do things here. Our presence here has become part of the local routine over the years and it keeps us grounded.
