Ambuja Cement

Our Ambuja Cement office is at House Number 217-218 in the Diara Sector. We are located in Bilaspur, which is up in Himachal Pradesh. The 174001 pin code gets the mail here. It’s a beautiful part of the country, though we spend most of our time inside looking at paperwork. The Diara Sector is a nice enough place to be based. We have two units combined here, 217 and 218, so there is enough room for our desks and the records we keep. It isn't a modern office building. It’s more of a traditional space that we have made work for us. Sometimes the mountain air gets a bit chilly, so we keep the doors shut tight. We have a small group of people working here every day. We aren't interested in being fancy or corporate. We just want to do our jobs and go home. Bilaspur is a place where people value practical work. We try to reflect that in how we run things. There is always a lot to do, especially when things get busy with the local projects. We have some old maps on the wall and a few calendars to keep track of the dates. It feels like a lived-in space. Most of us have been in this part of Himachal for a long time. We know the roads and the people around here. It is a steady, quiet way to work. We are just happy to have a solid roof.
