We are based in Bikaner, right behind the Nagar Nigam building in Mehro Ka Mohalla. It is a lively area with a lot of history. Our space is mostly used for storing big speakers, lights, and all the mixing gear. It gets pretty cramped in there because we have so much stuff. Most of our work happens at night when the rest of the city is starting to quiet down. We are the ones setting up the sound and making sure the lights are working. It is a lot of heavy lifting, and our backs often ache by the end of a long shift. We don't have a fancy website or a mission statement. We just know how to hook up a sound system so it sounds clear. The mohalla is a tight-knit place, and people often drop by to see what we are up to. Sometimes the electricity at a venue is bad, or we have to run long cables across a muddy field. We just deal with those things as they come. We aren't trying to be famous. We just like music and we like being part of the celebrations in Bikaner. It is a messy, loud, and tiring job, but we are used to it by now. We spend our days resting and our nights working. That is just how our life goes here behind the municipal office.
