Laxmi Niwas Palace

This is Laxmi Niwas Palace, and you can find us on Dr. Karni Singh Road. It’s a big old building with a lot of history behind it. We spend most of our time keeping the place running, which is a lot of work given the size of the stone walls and the grounds. It’s not like a modern box hotel; it has character, which also means it has its quirks. Sometimes a door creaks or a light takes a second to flicker on, but that’s part of the charm of an old palace. We have people working here who have been around for decades. We just try to keep the place looking decent for the guests who come through. Dr. Karni Singh Road is a main stretch here in Bikaner, so it’s easy to get to. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or promotional stuff. We just show people to their rooms and make sure they have what they need. The courtyards are usually quiet, which is nice when the city gets loud outside. It takes a lot of effort to maintain a place like this, but we take it one day at a time. We aren’t trying to pretend we are something we’re not. It’s a historic spot, and we are just the people looking after it for now. If you like old architecture and a bit of space, this is where we are, doing our daily work.
