Akshara Public School

Akshara Public School is located on the Hyderabad Road in Ladgeri. Being in Bidar, we get quite a bit of sun, so we’re always making sure the water coolers are filled up for the students. The school itself is right there where the road gets busy, so you can hear the traffic sometimes during the quiet hours. We have students from all sorts of backgrounds coming in every day. The morning assembly is usually when things feel the most organized. After that, it’s just the usual noise of classrooms and teachers talking. We have a playground that’s a bit dry, but the kids don’t care when they’re playing football or just sitting under the trees. Sometimes the paint on the walls looks a bit faded, but we try to fix it up when we have the budget. The teachers here are mostly from the local area. They understand how things work in Ladgeri. We don’t have anything very fancy, just the desks, the chairs, and the books they need for their exams. There’s always someone at the front desk to handle the phone calls and the visitors. We have to keep an eye on the kids near the road when they leave in the afternoon. It gets quite crowded then. It’s a practical place, and we focus on getting the kids through their subjects without making too much of a fuss about things. That's just how the school runs day to day.
