Ameliya Public School

Our school is located in Basaveshwar Colony, right in Shah Gunj, Bidar. It’s a quiet enough part of town most of the time, except when the bell rings in the afternoon. Ameliya Public School has been sitting here on this street for a while now. We see the same faces every morning coming through the gate. The kids are usually running around before the first period starts. Bidar can get a bit dusty, so we are always cleaning the floors and the benches. It’s a simple building, nothing too fancy, just enough rooms for the different grades we have. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily schedule and making sure the kids stay in their seats. The parents come by often to talk about how their children are doing or to pay the fees. It feels like a small community here in the colony. Sometimes we have small events in the yard, but mostly it is just regular lessons and homework. The teachers stay back late sometimes to get the grading finished. We have a few trees around the edge of the property that provide a little bit of shade during the summer months. It's a bit of a climb to the upper floors but everyone gets used to it eventually. We just keep our doors open and do what needs to be done every single day without much fuss or drama.
