Morarji Desai Residential School

Morarji Desai Residential School is situated in Aurad Town, specifically in the Aurad B part of Bidar. Since it’s a residential school, the students live here for most of the year. The building is quite large because it has to fit the dorms and the dining hall along with the classrooms. It’s a busy place because there are always people around, even at night. We’re in the 585326 area, which is a bit of a distance from the bigger cities. The grounds are fenced in, and we have a gatekeeper. It’s a very structured environment. The kids have a schedule for waking up, eating, studying, and playing. It isn't a luxury hotel, just basic living quarters with bunk beds and shared bathrooms. The dining hall gets very noisy during meal times. We have a staff that stays on-site to look after things. The weather in Bidar can get quite hot, so we try to keep the rooms as airy as possible. It’s a big responsibility looking after so many kids away from their parents. We don’t have a lot of decorations on the walls, just the stuff the students make. It’s a functional place designed for living and learning in one spot. We’ve been operating in Aurad for a long time now. It’s a solid, everyday routine for everyone involved.
