Ghanshyam Cement Depot

Ghanshyam Cement Depot is located at Plot Number 9 on the Parasmani New Station Road. Being near the station means there is always a lot of movement and noise from the trains and the people coming and going throughout the day. It’s a prime spot for a cement depot because it’s relatively easy to get things in and out. We deal with bags of cement all day long, so the place has that grey tint to it that you’d expect from this kind of work. It’s a straightforward setup. We have a large open area where the trucks pull in to load up. Most of our work involves moving those heavy bags and making sure the counts are exactly right. It’s a physical job and it definitely keeps us on our feet. The road out front is often crowded with rickshaws and delivery vans, so we’ve learned how to navigate the chaos over time. We’ve been at Plot 9 for quite some time now. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just run the depot and make sure the cement is ready for whoever needs it that day. The staff is just a few local guys who know the routine inside and out. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest way to make a living for us. We like the energy of being near the station, even if it gets a bit loud with the whistles sometimes. It’s just part of the job we do every single day.
