The Pungent

You can find us at Kiosk 3/5 in the BMC Prayas area. It is right on Nandankanan Road in Chandrasekharpur. Most people know the spot because Kalinga Hospital is quite close by. We’ve been here at The Pungent for a bit now. It is a small space, just a kiosk really, but it works for what we do. Bhubaneshwar can get quite warm, but being out here on the road is interesting. There is always a lot of foot traffic from people visiting the hospital or just passing through this part of town. We see all kinds of folks every day. The setup is pretty basic. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s just us in the kiosk, doing our thing. Sometimes the weather is nice and sometimes it’s dusty, but we stay open regardless. Being near the 751021 area code feels right. It’s a busy part of Chandrasekharpur and there is always something going on. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look. We just focus on serving the people who walk up to the window. It is a practical way to run things. We are just a small part of the local scene here. If you are walking down Nandankanan Road, you might spot us near the hospital. It’s a simple life at the kiosk. We just try to keep things moving and be there when people need us. No big stories, just work.
