Scan Steels Ltd

We are located in Sailashree Vihar, over at the Sonali Palace Apartment, Room A-004. It’s a residential part of Bhubaneswar, so running Scan Steels Ltd from here keeps us close to the heart of the city without being in the middle of an industrial park. It’s basically an apartment that we’ve turned into our main office. We don’t have a big warehouse attached to this spot; this is where we do the thinking and the paperwork. Most of our day is spent on the phone, talking to contractors or checking on the status of steel deliveries across Orissa. It’s a small operation here. We have a few desks, some chairs, and a small kitchen area where we make coffee and tea. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which we don't mind. We don't have any fancy marketing materials or a polished sales pitch. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been doing this for a long time and people know we’ll get the job done. The neighborhood is quiet, which helps when we have to focus on the numbers. We aren't looking to become some global giant. We just want to run a solid business and make sure our clients get their steel when they need it. It’s a simple, practical way to work. There are no frills here, just a lot of lists and phone calls.
