Sameer Photography

Sameer Photography is based out of Nandan Vihar. It’s not a big corporate studio with huge lights and a stage. Instead, it’s a more personal space where we keep all our cameras, lenses, and tripods. Most of the time, the room is a bit of a mess with camera bags and charging cables laying around. We spend a lot of hours sitting at the computer editing photos and trying to get the colors just right. Nandan Vihar is a quiet area, which is nice when we need to focus on our work. We started doing photography because we liked taking pictures, and eventually, it turned into a full-time thing. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the gear. Some days we are out on location for hours, carrying heavy bags and standing in the sun. Other days we are just here in the office, looking at thousands of images from a single event. It’s a lot more work than people think. It’s not just about clicking a button. There is a lot of waiting and a lot of technical stuff that can go wrong. We have shelves full of old hard drives where we store all the backups. We don't make big promises or use fancy slogans. We just take the photos and hope the people who see them like what we did. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we enjoy being our own bosses here in the neighborhood.
