Basudev Photography

You can find us over at H.No.23 in Pukhram Vallage, which is part of the Chadrasikharpur area. Basudev Photography isn't some high-end studio with flashing lights and white walls everywhere. It’s mostly just a room in the house filled with cameras, tripods, and a lot of memory cards scattered on the table. We spend a lot of our time out on the road, taking pictures of whatever people need us to capture, like weddings or small gatherings. When we are back at the house, we are usually sitting at the computer for hours going through hundreds of shots to find the good ones. It takes a long time to get everything looking right. The village is peaceful, which really helps when you have to concentrate on editing late into the night. Sometimes the lighting at a location isn't great, or the weather doesn't cooperate with our plans, but that's just part of the job we chose. We don't have a big reception desk or a sign. If someone knocks on the door at H.No.23, they usually find one of us with a camera bag over our shoulder getting ready to leave. We like taking photos because it’s better than sitting in a boring cubicle all day. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us who know how to handle a lens and a shutter. We have our favorite spots around Chadrasikharpur to shoot, but we go wherever the work takes us. Pukhram Vallage is our home base.
