Our office is located at Plot Number 763 in Sahid Nagar. If you know Bhubaneswar at all, you know Sahid Nagar is a very busy area with a lot of shops and people constantly moving around. Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited has been based here for a good while. It’s a decent spot, though finding a place to park your scooter can be a bit of a headache on most mornings. The building is a bit older, and the stairs might creak when you walk up, but it serves our purpose well enough for now. We don’t have any shiny signs or fancy decor once you get inside. It’s just a place where we sit down and get through the daily grind. We deal with a lot of documents and phone calls throughout the day. The tea stall just around the corner is where we usually end up during our breaks to talk about how the week is going. It’s a very local way of doing things, and it suits us fine. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a corporate image or fancy furniture. We just want to make sure the numbers add up and the shipments are staying on track. Bhubaneswar can get pretty humid, so we keep the windows open whenever there’s a bit of a breeze. It’s a basic office for people who value getting the job done over having a nice view or a posh desk. It is an honest living.
