Civil Bridge Engineer

We are based in the Old Town area of Bhubaneswar. Our office is actually a house, LB 423, in the Phase II Bhimatangi Housing Board Colony. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time, which is good for engineering work. We aren't some big firm in a glass tower. We are just a group of people who know a lot about bridges. We have our maps and our calculations spread out on the dining table or in the front room. People sometimes get a bit lost finding the house in the colony, but once they see the number 423, they know they’re at the right place. We’ve been working on bridges and civil structures for quite some time now. It’s a niche thing, but someone has to do it. We don't have a lot of fancy brochures. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they need an engineer who actually knows the local terrain and how things get built around here. The housing board colony is a decent place to work from. We can go for a walk when our brains get tired of numbers and lines. We just do the work, submit the plans, and make sure things are built properly so they don't fall down. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look bigger than we are.
