R N R Celebrations is right across from the B J E M School in Bjb Nagar. Being in Biswanath Nagar means we’re right in the middle of a residential area, so we see the same faces every morning when the school bus drops the kids off. Our place is usually a bit chaotic, especially when we’re preparing for a big party or a wedding. We have stuff piled up in corners—mostly lights, fabrics, and those little things that make a celebration look right. It’s not a quiet job by any means. There’s always someone calling about a date or a change in the guest list at the last minute. We try to keep the shop organized, but it’s hard when you’re constantly moving things in and out. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool inside. We’ve been here in this part of Bhubaneshwar for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Even so, the school is still there and the street is still as busy as ever. We don’t use any fancy management software; it’s mostly just diaries and wall calendars that keep us on track. It’s a local business run by local people who just want to make sure the party goes off without any major problems. We’re just regular folks doing our thing every single day for the community.
