Magic Screen Print Pvt Ltd is based in Nayapalli, Bhubaneshwar. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Our place isn't like those clean, quiet offices you see in the movies. It’s a printing press, so it’s loud and there’s always a smell of ink and cleaning fluids in the air. We have stacks of paper and boxes of t-shirts everywhere. My clothes usually have a few ink spots on them by the end of the day. We do all sorts of screen printing work for local businesses and people. It’s a lot of manual labor. We have to set up the screens, mix the colors, and pull the squeegee over and over. Sometimes the humidity in Bhubaneshwar makes the ink dry too slow or too fast, which can be a real pain. We just have to adjust and keep going. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of workers. We’re just a small team in Nayapalli doing our thing. We don't have a fancy sales pitch. If someone needs something printed, they come in, we show them some samples, and we get to work. It’s a bit messy and the floor is never perfectly clean, but the prints come out fine. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay on schedule so the customer is satisfied when they pick up their boxes.
