Pks Events

We are based in Rourkela, over in Orissa. The address is Quarter Number A/23 in Sector 4. It’s a quiet residential area, mostly where people who work for the steel plant live. Pks Events started right here in this house. We don't have a separate commercial office, so we just work out of the front room. It’s a bit tight when we have to store tents or sound systems, but we have a small shed in the back for the bigger items. Rourkela is a nice town, not too big like Mumbai or Delhi. Everyone seems to know everyone else. We mostly handle local weddings, birthdays, and community festivals. It’s a lot of physical labor, setting up stages and hanging lights. My cousins and a few friends usually help out when we have a big gig. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just hear about us from their neighbors and give us a call. We spend a lot of time sitting on the porch talking about upcoming plans. The weather here can be really hot, so we do most of our heavy lifting early in the morning or late at night. We drink a lot of lime water to stay hydrated. It’s a simple life, and we aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to make sure the local parties go off without any problems. It’s honest work.
