Zamzam Fast Food

Zamzam Fast Food is located right at No. 8 inside the Faiz Masjid Campus. Being in Indra Vihar Colony on Airport Road means it gets pretty lively around here, especially as the sun starts to go down. The smell of the kitchen usually fills up that corner of the campus. We spend most of our afternoons prepping everything before the evening rush hits. There is a lot of chopping, cleaning tables, and making sure the stove is ready to go. The floor gets a bit greasy sometimes, so we are always mopping it up when there’s a spare minute. Airport Road is always loud with cars and bikes zooming past, but inside the campus, it feels a bit more tucked away. Customers come in from the nearby houses in Indra Vihar, and we see the same faces almost every night. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit cramped when it’s busy, but that’s just how it is. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the tables, chairs, and the counter where the food comes out. At the end of the night, there’s a lot of washing up to do. We usually turn the lights off quite late after the last few people finish their meals. It’s hard work on your feet all day, but it’s our daily life here. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the food is ready when people want it.
