The Ap Holidays

The Ap Holidays is run out of J-9 in the EWS Quarters at Jawahar Chowk. It’s basically located at Ashish Saxsena’s place. Being in a residential area like Jawahar Chowk means we aren't in a big glass building or a fancy shopping mall like other agencies. It’s a more personal and quiet way of doing things. We mostly handle holiday bookings for people who want to get away from the city for a few days. It involves a lot of looking at different hotel options and trying to figure out which ones are actually good and which ones just have nice-looking pictures. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us working from here every day. The quarters can be a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with the layout of the block, so we often have to give directions over the phone to visitors. We have a small desk set up with a laptop and a pile of notebooks where we keep track of everything manually. It’s not a fancy corporate environment by any means. We usually have the window open and you can hear the kids playing outside or the neighbors talking as they walk past. People usually come to us because they know us personally or a friend told them about our service. We just try to be helpful and get the bookings done without making it too complicated for anyone. It’s a small, honest business run right from the heart of our home. We don’t use any fancy marketing tools.
