Steel Centre

Steel Centre is located at Plot No. 27 in Sector B of the Govindpura Industrial Area. We are right near Sanjay Dharam Kanta, which is handy because everyone knows where the weighbridge is. It’s a gritty kind of place, full of metal and grease. We don’t have an air-conditioned office or anything like that. Just a desk and some chairs where we handle the paperwork. Most of the action happens out on the floor. You can hear the sounds of the industrial area all day long—clanking, engines, and people shouting instructions. We keep things pretty basic here. We’ve got our routine down. Morning starts with checking the inventory and seeing what’s scheduled for the day. Sometimes the crane acts up or a truck gets delayed, but that’s just part of the business. We don't try to be anything we’re not. It’s a place for steel, and that’s about it. The guys who work here have been around for years, and they know the rhythm of Sector B. It’s not a quiet neighborhood, that’s for sure. But if you’re looking for where the work actually gets done, this is it. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get home before the traffic on the main road gets too bad. It’s honest work and a lot of heavy lifting under the Govindpura sun. The yard stays full most days and we just keep the workflow going.
