Shashi Travels

Shashi Travels is located right on Hamidia Road, which is one of the busiest streets in Bhopal. We are at shop number one, situated inside the Naramda Ice Factory building. It’s a bit of an old-school spot, and being opposite the Sajjad Hussain Petrol Pump makes us easy to spot if you’re stuck in the usual traffic. The road is always loud with horns and engines, but inside the office, we just focus on getting people’s travel plans sorted out properly. We handle a lot of bus bookings and local travel stuff for people in the city. The ice factory is a well-known landmark, so we usually just tell people to look for that when they call for directions. Our office is simple and functional, without any extra decorations at all. There’s usually a bit of dust from the road, but that’s just part of being on Hamidia Road every day. We have our computers and a few chairs for when people come in to discuss their trips or pick up tickets they ordered. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it’s more like a place where you can just drop in and have a quick chat about where you’re going next. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the other shop owners around us. Every morning we open the shop, get some tea from the nearby stall, and start looking at the new bookings that came in. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we don’t mind it.
