Our base is at 322/1 S R G Complex in Kalpana Nagar, which sits right along the Raisen Road. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city center, but we like the space we have here. Being on Raisen Road means we are well-positioned to head out to events in the surrounding areas without getting stuck in the inner-city gridlock every single time. The S R G Complex is a practical location for us. We have enough room to store the huge cookers and the stacks of plates that we need for our work. It’s a local business, through and through. The people working here are mostly from the nearby neighborhoods in Kalpana Nagar. We don't put much stock in fancy advertisements or polished sales talk. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the ingredients we buy from the local markets and making sure the transport is ready to go. Catering is mostly about being prepared for things to go wrong and having a way to fix them on the fly. It is a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the burners. We just keep our focus on the daily tasks at the complex and make sure the vans are loaded correctly before they head out. It’s a simple life, and we have been at it long enough to know the routine by heart.
