Ren Basera Canteens

Our canteen, Ren Basera Canteens, is located right near Sultaniya Hospital in Bhopal. If you've been around Sultania Road or near the Kali Mandir, you’ve likely seen us. Being so close to a hospital means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are doctors in a hurry, others are families who are waiting for news about their loved ones. We keep the food simple and hot. It’s not a fancy restaurant with a long menu; we focus on basic meals that fill you up. The kitchen is always going, with the sound of pans clattering and water boiling. We start early because the hospital never really sleeps. The area around Kali Mandir is usually crowded, and our seating area fills up fast during lunch hours. It can get a bit loud with the clinking of spoons and people chatting, but we try to keep things moving so everyone gets a seat. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the chai is fresh and the food is served on time. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening, especially if it’s been a particularly busy day on Sultania Road. We know our place isn't perfect, but we try to provide a bit of a break for people who are going through a lot at the hospital. It’s just a practical canteen serving the 462001 area. We focus on feeding people who need it.
