Pavan Putra Pan Palaces

This is our little place at Dugra Chowk in the Barkhedi area. We are located at Shop No-156, right where the streets meet near Anna Nagar. Most people in Bhopal know this corner. It’s mostly just me and a couple of guys helping out with the orders. We have pan, tobacco, and some small snacks. It’s a loud spot because of the traffic at the chowk. We get a lot of people stopping their bikes for a quick break. The counter is usually covered with different jars and packets. It’s not a big shop, just enough room for us to stand and work. We’ve been here in Bhopal for years. The rain sometimes gets inside when it pours hard, so we have to move things back. People stand under the awning when it drizzles. We don’t have any fancy seating or anything like that. You just stand, get your pan, and talk for a minute. It’s a good way to hear the local news. The lights are bright so people can see us from across the street. We keep it open till late at night. Sometimes it’s the only place still open on the block. We just try to stay busy and keep everyone moving. It's a simple life at the chowk. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the shop going every day for the regulars.
