Monika Travels

Monika Travels has its office over at New Market in Bhopal. Specifically, we are in Shop No 13 and 14 by the Dashera Maidan. It is a very busy part of the city, especially when there are events happening at the Maidan. We are also quite close to Hotel Palash, so we get a fair amount of people walking over from there. Our shop is simple and functional. We have been operating from this spot for quite a while now. The work mostly involves booking tickets and organizing tours for people who want to see different parts of the country. It can get a bit loud outside with all the traffic and shoppers in New Market, but we don't mind it much. Inside the shop, it is usually just us working through the daily list of tasks. We handle everything from small local trips to longer journeys. There is always some paperwork to be filled out or a confirmation that needs to be chased down. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long. It is a local business and we know a lot of the people who live and work around here. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that; people usually just find us because they’ve seen the sign while walking through the market or someone told them about us.
