Maheswari Marble & Granites

Maheswari Marble & Granites is situated on Bairagarh Road in the Lalghati area. We are easy to spot because we are right near the Tata Showroom. Being on a main road like this means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. The shop is mostly an open space filled with slabs of marble and granite of all different sizes. It gets quite hot in the summer because the stone holds the heat, so we usually have a fan going in the small area where we sit. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big team of people. It’s just us, and we do the work of showing the stone and loading it up when someone buys something. Sometimes the slabs are really heavy and it takes three or four of us to move them safely without any breaking. We have a lot of different colors, though some are more popular than others. People often come in with their families to pick out what they want for their new kitchen or bathroom. We just let them walk around and look at everything at their own pace. There is no pressure from us. If we don't have what someone wants, we tell them where else they might look. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors are all pretty friendly. It’s a good spot to be, even if the road noise is a bit much sometimes. We just keep the yard open until evening.
