Hurry Cabs

If you head over to Nirupam Shopping Mall on Hoshangabad Road, you’ll find us at Shop No. 36. We’ve been running Hurry Cabs from this little corner of Bhopal for a good while. Being near Ahmadpur helps because it’s a spot most people recognize. Our office isn't very large, just enough space for a couple of desks and some chairs for when the drivers come in to check their schedules. There is usually a lot of talk about traffic and which roads are closed for repairs today. We spend a lot of time on the phone, coordinating things and making sure the cars are where they need to be. It can get pretty hectic, especially during the monsoon when everyone wants a ride at the same time. The mall gets busy on weekends, so parking can be a bit of a headache around here. We keep a stash of tea and biscuits for the long shifts. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We know the streets of Bhopal like the back of our hands by now. The office walls have some old maps and a calendar that’s usually a month behind. We don't worry much about the decor as long as the work gets finished. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just use our phones to keep things moving. It's just a regular local business trying to keep things running smoothly. We’ve been at this shop for years and don't plan on moving.
