Dj Prem

Our little setup is located right across from the Shiv Mandir on the main road here in Bhilwara. If you live around Shastri Nagar, you have probably walked past our door a hundred times without thinking much about it. Dj Prem started up because we really just enjoyed music and noticed that people in the neighborhood always needed someone to handle the sound at their parties. It is not a very complicated business model. We have got some decent speakers, a few mixers, and a massive collection of songs saved on our drives. We spend a lot of our time inside the shop just checking the cables and making sure the speakers are not rattling. Being in the 311001 area means we see the same people every day and we like that familiarity. We are not trying to become world-famous DJs or anything like that. We just want to make sure the music sounds clear and the volume is right for whoever is dancing. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets really loud and dusty, but that is just part of living in Bhilwara. We have done all kinds of events, from tiny backyard birthdays to the bigger weddings you see around the area. Usually, folks just stop by to chat about what they need for their date. We write the details down in a dusty notebook and get to work. It is a simple life, but it keeps us busy and we like being near the temple.
