Vimi Infotech is tucked away in the Parekh Building, specifically at 2/2 in the Zaobawadi area of Thakurdwar. If you know this part of town, you know it’s crowded and full of old buildings and narrow lanes. Our office is right in the middle of all that. It’s not a large space, but we have enough room for our computers and the servers that hum in the corner. Being in Thakurdwar means there’s always something happening outside the window, from festivals to the daily rush of people going to the markets. We do mostly tech work, which involves a lot of sitting in front of screens and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It can be frustrating at times, but that’s just how it goes with technology. The Parekh Building has seen better days, but it has character and we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We usually get our tea from the stall downstairs and take turns going for lunch because we can't all leave the phones at once. It’s a small operation, and we don't have any fancy departments or managers with suits. It’s just us doing our jobs and trying to keep the clients happy with their systems. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, but we usually manage.
