Computer Work

I've been running Computer Work for a good while now. We are right by the railway station in Kadarsheth Vadi here in Botad. It gets pretty busy with people coming off the trains or just locals dropping in when their screens go black. It’s mostly me and a couple of guys handle the tech stuff. Most days it’s just sorting out software that crashed or trying to get some old printer to behave again. Gujrat heat doesn't help the machines much, so we see a lot of overheating issues. People come in, sit on the bench, and wait while we look at things. We don't have fancy coffee or anything, just some tools and some spare parts lying around on the desks. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, other times it takes a few days if we need a specific part sent over from a bigger city. It’s honest work, keeping folks connected and making sure their office stuff stays running. The shop isn't big, but it’s ours. We know most of the neighbors by name. If you're walking toward the station, you'll see our sign hanging slightly crooked. It’s nothing flashy. We just deal with whatever computer problems walk through the door. Sometimes it’s a kid with a broken laptop from school, other times it’s a shopkeeper needing his billing system fixed. We just do what we can to get them back to work before the day ends.
