Our little office is tucked inside Rupam Chowk, which is always buzzing with people and bikes. Soni Software Solutions isn't a massive tech firm with hundreds of employees; it's just a few of us working on computers in a quiet corner of the building. Being in the chowk means there's always noise from the street, but we've learned to tune it out when we're focused on a screen. The office has a couple of old desks and a lot of cables running along the floor. We drink a lot of coffee and tea throughout the day to keep ourselves going. It’s a nice spot because everything you need is right outside the door, from snacks to stationary. Most of our clients are locals who know us by name and just walk in when they have a question or need something fixed. We don't really follow a strict corporate dress code or have those long, boring meetings you hear about. We just sit down, open the laptops, and get to work on whatever needs doing. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble, but usually, we try to head home before the traffic gets too bad in the evening. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We've been in Rupam Chowk for a while now and feel like a part of the local furniture. There is a sense of community here that you do not get in the big tech parks where everything looks the same.
