As A Tele-Operator & Receptionist

This is a small setup located at C-24, Manisha, in Sitaramnagar. Bhavnagar is a place with a lot of small streets, and we are tucked away in a quiet residential patch. The 364002 area is where we live and work most of the time. We don't have a giant office building with a lot of glass. It’s basically just a room with a phone and a place to sit. The main work involves answering calls and greeting whoever comes to the door during the day. It’s a bit of a mix between a home and an office. We have the usual stuff like a notebook to write down messages and a small computer for the records. There is a small garden out front that we try to keep alive, though the sun is pretty harsh most months. People in Sitaramnagar mostly know each other, so we see a lot of the same faces passing by the window. It’s not a high-pressure environment like you might find in a big city. We just make sure the phone is answered and the visitors are pointed in the right direction if they are lost. Sometimes it’s quiet for hours, and then everyone seems to call at once. That’s just how it goes with this kind of job. We don't have a fancy uniform or anything like that. It's just simple work in a simple place. We like it this way because it’s easy to manage without too much stress or any complicated systems.
