Hotel Blue Hill

Hotel Blue Hill sits right in the Nilkhanth Nagar area, specifically Plot No 4269 in the Shri Ram Society. Being near Gayatri Nagar means there is always something going on nearby. It isn't one of those massive skyscrapers, just a solid building that stays busy with people coming in and out. Most of the staff has lived in Bhavnagar for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and where to get the best tea nearby. The lobby isn't huge, but it has enough room for a few people to sit and talk while they wait for their keys. We spend a lot of time checking the rooms and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the water pressure acts up, but we usually get it sorted before anyone notices. The street outside is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache if too many people show up at once. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new houses going up around the society. It’s a bit noisy during the festivals when the music from the nearby temples carries over, but most nights it is fairly calm. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We eat our lunch in the small back room and talk about the news or what's happening in the market. It's just a regular local business trying to do things right and keeping the floors clean.
