Western Railway

Our place is located right near the Walkman World Gali in Desainagar. If you know where the Chitra Petrol Pump is, we are just opposite that on Plot No 14/D. It is a dusty part of Bhavnagar, but there is always something going on with the trains. We deal with a lot of paperwork and people asking about schedules or cargo. The office isn't much to look at, just desks and a lot of old files stacked up. Sometimes the fans don't work right in the heat, but we get through the day. Being part of the Western Railway means we see all sorts of people coming through. Some are looking for jobs, others are trying to track down a shipment that got delayed. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a 364001 area code kind of life, very local and very busy. We have been in this spot for years. You can hear the sounds from the petrol pump and the traffic from the main road all day. It’s not quiet, but it’s home for us during work hours. We drink a lot of tea and handle whatever problem walks through the door next. We aren't here to make things sound better than they are. It's just hard work and keeping the tracks clear for everyone in Gujarat. We take things as they come and just keep working.
