My name is Subodh Sinha and I run things here at the Hotel Sun N Shine. We are located right at Panwadi Chok on S T Road in Bhavnagar. It’s a prime spot because the bus station is so close. We get a lot of people coming in late at night looking for a room after a long trip. The hotel is always a bit noisy because of the traffic on S T Road, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. I spend most of my day making sure the rooms are clean and that the kitchen has enough supplies for breakfast. We aren't a five-star luxury resort, but we give people a decent place to sleep. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb goes out, and I have to go fix it myself or find someone who can. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running in Gujarat. We see business travelers, families visiting relatives, and everyone in between. The lobby is small and we usually have the local news playing on the television. We don't have a big marketing team. It’s just me and a few staff members trying to keep the guests happy. If you’re at Panwadi Chok, you’ll see our sign. We've been here for a while and we know the rhythms of the street pretty well. It is a busy life, but it works for us.
