Metco Roof Pvt. Ltd. is situated in the Jhagadia Mega Estate. Our plot numbers are 824/20 and 21. If you know the Bharuch area, you know how industrial this whole place is. It is a massive estate with trucks coming and going at all hours of the day and night. We deal with roofing materials. It is heavy work and the Gujarat sun does not make it any easier for the guys on the floor. Inside the plant, it is all about the rollers and the big cutting machines. We make the sheets that eventually go on top of warehouses and factories. It is funny because we work under a roof all day just to make roofs for others. The noise level can be pretty high when the machines are running at full tilt. We have a lot of workers from the surrounding villages. They are good people who work hard and stay honest. We do not have a lot of corporate rules here; we just expect people to show up and do their bit. The office part of the building is just a few desks near the front entrance. We spend way more time on the factory floor anyway. Sometimes there are delays with the raw materials coming into the district, and that slows us down. But usually, we keep the pace up. We just want to make sure the sheets we send out do not leak.
