Metal Point

You can find Metal Point over at Plot No. 23 in the Govinda Complex. We are located in the G.I.D.C. Estate, which is right near the Char Rasta. Since we are in an industrial estate, the whole area is filled with the sounds of factories and workshops. There is always the smell of hot metal and welding smoke in the air around here. Our shop is a place where we work with steel and iron, cutting it down or joining it together. It’s hot work, especially when the machines have been running all morning. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything. When you come in, you are likely to see sparks flying or hear the sound of a heavy hammer hitting something. We keep our tools on big racks and there are always piles of metal scraps in the corners of the plot. The Char Rasta nearby is always jammed with traffic, which makes the area feel even busier. We spend most of our time out on the floor, making sure the measurements are right and the metal is handled correctly for the job. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we know. We have been part of the G.I.D.C. for a while and have seen many businesses come and go. We just stay focused on our own work and keep the machines going. It’s a plain, hardworking life at Metal Point.
