Larsen & Toubro Limited , Ecc Division

Our setup is right on the site of the Vadodara Bharuch Road Project in Bharuch. We are the ECC division, so we’re basically stationed where the construction is happening. It’s not a permanent office building; it’s more of a site office made of portable cabins and temporary structures. It’s dusty and noisy because of the heavy trucks and machinery moving around all day. We have our desks crammed into these cabins with a lot of files and site maps. The sun in Gujarat is really strong, so it gets quite hot inside despite the small AC units we have. We spend a lot of time outside on the road project and then come back here to do the logs and reports. It’s a very busy place with people coming in and out constantly. We share our meals together and there's always a big water dispenser in the corner. It’s a very practical, no-frills environment. There’s no lobby or fancy furniture, just metal chairs and basic tables. Everything is covered in a thin layer of dust no matter how much we clean. We stay here until the work on this section of the road is done. It’s a tough environment but it’s where the real work of building things happens. We don't have time for anything that isn't about the project.
