Khodiyar Metal

Khodiyar Metal is over in Phase-2 of the G.I.D.C. area in Bhared. It is one of those places where you can hear the metal clanging from the street. We have been in this spot for several years now. The roads in the industrial estate can be a bit rough after the rains, so we have to be careful with the deliveries. It’s a basic setup we have here. Just a big shed with all our equipment and a small corner for the paperwork. Most of the guys working here live nearby and walk or ride their bikes to the site. We don't do much in the way of advertising because everyone in Bhared sort of knows where we are. The coffee machine broke down last month, so now we just get tea from the boy who comes around on his cycle. It’s a loud environment, but we are used to it. We start our day before the sun gets too high because the metal gets hot to touch otherwise. There is no big corporate ladder here, just the owner and the workers doing what needs to be done. We stay busy with the local orders mostly. If you come looking for us, look for the blue gates in Phase-2. They are a bit faded now but they still close tight at night. We just keep our heads down and work through the list every day.
