Anita Travels

Our place is situated right at Jadeshwar Chokdi on NH 8 in Bharuch. Being near the highway means there is always a lot of movement around us. Anita Travels has been operating from this spot for a while now, and we mostly deal with people who are passing through or locals who need to get somewhere else fast. The office isn't very large, but it serves the purpose. We handle a lot of bus bookings and local travel arrangements. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but that is just how it is when you are located so close to the main highway. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some people are in a huge rush to catch a connection and others just want to sit for a minute while we look up the next available seat for them. It gets quite busy in the evenings when the long-distance buses start rolling in. We don't do much advertising; mostly it’s just people seeing the sign while they are stuck in traffic at the Chokdi. We keep the ledger books on the desk and try to stay organized, even when the phone is ringing off the hook. It’s a straightforward job, helping people get from one point to another without too much fuss. If you are driving on NH 8 and need a ticket, we are right there.
