Raj Travels

Started out here in Omkar Society some time ago. We handle a lot of travel bookings for people living around Ajwaroad. Usually, the phone starts ringing pretty early with folks asking about bus timings or car rentals for weddings and weekend trips. Being right behind Shantivan School makes it easy for people to find us, though the lane gets a bit crowded when the school lets out and the kids are everywhere. We just sit in the small office, check the schedules, and try to get everyone where they need to go without too much fuss or delay. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to write things down on paper logs like we used to do years ago. It’s mostly just us keeping track of the drivers and making sure the vehicles are clean for the next passenger. Vadodara has changed a lot with all the new buildings, but this corner stays mostly the same. We see the same faces every week. It isn't anything fancy, just a small desk and a few chairs for people to wait while we finalize their tickets. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they know we are here and they trust us. Sometimes we have to deal with traffic delays or a flat tire, and that takes up the whole afternoon. It gets dusty being near the main road but we keep the fans going to stay cool. It’s a regular job, keeping the accounts straight.
