This place is located over in Nippan Nagar, right on the Link Road in Bharuch. It's an industrial setup, so there is always a lot of noise from the machinery and the big trucks coming in and out of the gates. We spend most of our time dealing with the pipes and making sure the production stays on track without any major breakdowns. It is dusty work most of the time. The office is at B/31, and it's where the paperwork gets handled between all the different shifts. People come and go at all hours because the factory doesn't really stop much, even on holidays. We deal with a lot of heavy metal and logistics stuff every single day. The heat in Gujarat can get pretty bad in the summer months, which makes the shop floor a tough place to be, but we just get on with it and drink plenty of water. There’s a lot of focus on the technical details of the steel and the coating, which is what we do here. The yard is usually full of inventory waiting to be moved out to different sites across the country. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for fun, but it’s where a lot of the local guys find steady work to support their families. We keep the registers updated and talk to the drivers about their specific routes. Sometimes the rain slows down the loading process, but otherwise, it's a constant cycle of manufacturing and shipping.
