Vijay Kiran Academy English Medium School is tucked away in Ward No.18 of Katara Village. If you are looking for us, we are located right behind the Agarwal Dharamshala in Nadbai Tehsil. It is a bit of a hidden spot if you are not from around here, but the locals know the way. Being in a village like Katara means things are a bit quieter than in the big cities, which we quite like. Our school is not a massive complex with high-tech gadgets everywhere. We are a simple English medium school where we focus on teaching the basics and making sure the kids understand their lessons. The building is modest and we have had to fix the roof a few times, but it serves us well enough. Most of our students come from the nearby houses in the ward. We know their families and we see them at the market or around the village all the time. Being behind the dharamshala gives us a bit of a landmark that everyone can find. It is not a place for people looking for something polished or corporate. We are just local people running a school for the local children. There is always some dust from the roads and the sounds of the village nearby, but that is just home to us. We do our work, the kids do theirs, and we all go home at the end of the day. It is a routine we have followed for a long time and it seems to work for everyone.
