Hindustan Public School

Being located on Alwar Road in Bharatpur means we are right in the thick of things. Hindustan Public School has a bit of a view of the main road, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars passing by. It can get pretty noisy during the rush hours, but the kids don't seem to mind much. Inside the gates, it’s just a normal school day with books and blackboards. We have been here for a while, and the building shows its age in a few spots, but it’s sturdy and does the job. Most of the families in this part of Bharatpur know where we are. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a bunch of people in suits. Usually, it’s just us teachers and the staff making sure the rooms are ready for the morning. The playground isn't huge, but there is enough space for the students to run around during their break. We see a lot of kids from the surrounding colonies. The sun hits the front of the school pretty hard in the afternoons, so we spend a lot of time making sure everyone stays in the shade. It is a very local kind of place, where everyone knows the shopkeepers down the street. We just focus on the daily routine of classes and making sure the kids get their work done before they head home. It is a simple life for us here on Alwar Road.
