Shiv Hari Vidhya Mandir

Shiv Hari Vidhya Mandir is tucked away in Pratap Colony here in Bharatpur. It’s a quiet enough area, which is good for a school I guess. We started this place because there was a need for a school right in this neighborhood. Most of the kids who come here live just a few streets away, so they usually walk or ride their cycles. The building has several rooms and a bit of space out front where we do morning assembly. It’s nothing too big, but we make it work for everyone. We try to keep the place tidy, though with so many children running around, there's always a bit of dust or a stray pencil on the floor. Our teachers are local people too. They know the families around here, which makes things a bit more personal when there's a problem to discuss. We follow the regular curriculum and make sure the kids have their textbooks ready. Sometimes we have small events for holidays, but mostly it's just regular lessons day after day. We don't have a massive budget for fancy things, so we focus on the basics like reading, writing, and math. It’s important that the children learn the fundamentals before they grow up. Bharatpur is a decent place to live, and we're just part of the community here in the 321201 area. People know they can find us if they need to talk about their child's schooling.
