Om Bricks

I am writing this to let people know a little about Om Bricks. We are located right here in Tarwa, specifically on National Highway 80. If you are driving past the Referral Hospital, you can’t miss us since we are directly opposite it. It’s a busy spot with all the trucks going by. We’ve been at this Pirpainpi location for a while now. Most days are spent looking at stacks of bricks and managing the kiln. Making bricks is hard work, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate. If it rains too much, everything stops. We mostly deal with local folks who are building small houses or fixing up walls in the village. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a yard full of red clay and workers getting their hands dirty. My phone rings at odd hours with people asking if we have enough stock for their projects. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets everywhere, but that’s just how it is out here. We just try to keep the supply steady so people can finish their construction. It is a straightforward business. We don't have a big marketing team. It is just me and a few guys making sure the bricks come out right. If you are near the hospital in Pirpainpi, you can just stop by and see what we have in the yard. It's easier than talking over the phone sometimes. There is usually someone around to help.
