D A V Public School is situated in the Barari locality of Bhagalpur. It’s a place that has been around for quite some time. The building is large and has many different sections for the various grades. We have a main entrance that gets very busy when school starts and ends. Barari is a populated area, so we have students coming from all the nearby streets. Inside, the walls are painted a simple cream color. We have desks that are lined up in neat rows. The teachers use blackboards and colored chalk. We don't have fancy whiteboards or projectors in every room. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. The staff room is a place where we sit and talk about the day’s events. We have a small area for sports, but it’s not a full-sized field. The kids mostly play tag or small games during their lunch break. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a lot of noise, but we are used to it. The office handles all the fees and admissions, and it can get quite chaotic during the peak months. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It’s a functional space meant for study. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. It’s a solid part of the Bhagalpur neighborhood and we like it that way. We see many generations of the same families coming through our doors year after year.
