Adwaita Mission High School

Down here in Bounsi, things move a bit slower than the big cities. Adwaita Mission High School is situated right in this part of Banka. It’s a quiet area for the most part. We have a decent-sized building. It isn't new, but it stays standing. We spend our mornings getting things ready before the kids show up. The air is a bit cleaner here in 813104 than in the main towns. We have a few trees on the grounds that give some shade. The classrooms are simple. We have wooden benches that have been used for many years. You can see names carved into some of them. We don't have a lot of high-tech stuff. Just chalk and boards. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students, there’s always some dirt on the floors by noon. The staff lives nearby, so we walk or cycle to work. We know the parents because we see them at the market in Bounsi. It’s a local life. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. I'm writing this because someone asked for a description. We just provide a place for kids to learn. Some days are harder than others when the weather is too hot. We just open the windows and keep going. That’s how we do things here in Banka. We’ve been here for years and we’ll be here for many more.
