Diksha International School

You can find us over in Ib Rahimpur, which is part of the Sabour area in Bhagalpur. It is a quiet spot, mostly away from the main noise of the city. We have been running things here for a bit now. The school building has several floors, and we try to keep the garden out front looking decent. Most of the staff comes in early to get things ready before the students show up. We have a lot of kids from the surrounding parts of Bhagalpur who come here every day. The classrooms have basic wooden desks and plenty of light from the windows. It’s a simple setup really. We don’t spend much on big advertisements or anything like that. Word usually gets around by mouth from one family to another. On Saturdays, we sometimes have extra activities, but mostly it is just regular school work throughout the week. The walk from the main road isn't too long. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, especially during the monsoon when the paths get wet, but the kids still show up. We just keep doing what we do. It’s a job that keeps us busy from morning until late afternoon. We like the fact that people in Sabour know who we are. It feels good to be part of the neighborhood and help the kids get through their exams. There is always a lot of chatter in the hallways during the lunch break.
