Goethals Public School

You can find Goethals Public School right along National Highway 80 in Pripainti. Being on the highway means it’s easy to get to, though it can be a bit noisy with the trucks passing by all day. We’ve been operating here in Bhagalpur for a while. The school is a familiar sight for anyone traveling this stretch of road. We have a gate and a small courtyard for the kids. The classrooms are lined up in a row. It’s a very practical building. We don't have any fancy gardens or big statues. We just make sure there’s enough room for everyone to sit and study comfortably. The teachers arrive early to beat the morning traffic. Most of our students are from the surrounding villages near Pripainti. They bring their lunches in tiffin boxes and spend the whole day here. We keep things pretty simple. There’s no need for complicated systems. We just follow the schedule and make sure the lessons are taught. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we just open the windows for some air. It’s just how things are in this part of the state. We’ve grown used to the dust from the road. Every evening, we lock up and head home, only to do it all again the next morning. It’s a steady life. We’re just a local school trying to do right by the kids in our neighborhood. It is a bit loud but we don't mind much.
